Astana's Astaufest-2025 Showcases Global Culinary Talent
Astana is currently hosting the VI International Gastronomic Festival Astaufest-2025, which coincides with the International Chef's Day. Over 45 educational institutions from various countries, totalling more than 230 students, teachers, and master practitioners, are participating in this annual event. However, the list of participating institutions is not publicly available.
The festival, which is part of the Year of Labor Professions, has drawn top chefs, pastry chefs, bartenders, and students from different countries. Thirteen international experts are evaluating the participants' professional skills, ensuring an independent and professional assessment. The second day of the festival featured final trials and presentations of culinary innovations, with winners set to be announced.
This year's focus is on the internationalization of professional and technical education, fostering high competition among the registered institutions. The festival aims to prepare competitive specialists in gastronomy and integrate modern standards into the technical and professional education system. It also provides an opportunity for students to develop their talents and learn best global practices in the field.
Astaufest-2025 is not only a celebration of gastronomy but also a platform for international collaboration and skill development in professional and technical education. Despite the lack of public information on participating institutions, the festival continues to attract top talent and promote excellence in the culinary arts.
