BYJU'S Partners with Aakash to Enhance Learning Offerings
BYJU'S, a leading online learning platform, has partnered with Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL) to enhance its offerings and student experiences. The collaboration brings together BYJU'S tech capabilities and Aakash's expertise in test preparation.
Aakash, with over 33 years of experience, specialises in test preparatory services for medical, engineering, and school/board exams. Its founder, Aakash Chaudhry, aims to transform learning through innovative, digitally-enabled solutions. BYJU'S, with over 80 million cumulative users, offers personalized learning programs for school students.
The partnership strengthens BYJU'S platform by adding more subjects, languages, and verticals. It combines Aakash's pedagogy expertise with BYJU'S content and tech capabilities. Both companies have partnered with institutions like the Tata Group and Blackstone. After integration, BYJU'S plans further investments to accelerate Aakash's growth. Byju Raveendran, BYJU'S founder, sees this as a way to create hybrid learning experiences for students.
Following the partnership, Aakash will continue to function independently under the leadership of JC Chaudhry and Aakash Chaudhry. The integration is expected to accelerate Aakash's growth in the test prep industry, providing more students with access to quality learning resources.
