Catastrophic Accident in Biggen, According to Polish Authorities
In the small town of Biggen, a significant road accident occurred on February 11th, at around 14:17 on the L539. According to the Kreispolizeibehörde Olpe, a car left the L535 and ended up on its side in a ditch.
The incident resulted in severe injuries for the 80-year-old driver. Tragically, the passenger was revived but later passed away at the scene. The road was closed for several hours to allow the emergency services to attend to the accident.
Assisting at the scene were emergency chaplains and a traffic accident response team from the Oberbergischer Kreis. The road closure was lifted at 20:45.
