City Recognizes Top Students: Miesbacher's Outstanding Graduates Celebrated by the City Administration
The city of Miesbach recently celebrated the achievements of its brightest students, who are set to embark on diverse future careers. The event, held at the town hall, was attended by parents, relatives, and local dignitaries, including Astrid Güldner, the deputy mayor's representative.
Seven students from Miesbach Gymnasium and Realschule Miesbach were honoured for their academic excellence and extracurricular successes. Among them were Rebecca Uthess, Josefine Perreiter, Irma Fell, Hannah Sergel, Maximilian Razeghi, Tassilo Mall, and Lena Reckmann.
For the students of Miesbach Gymnasium, the future looks promising. The school, known as Rhabanus-Maurus-Gymnasium St. Ottilien, supports its students in their career aspirations through participation in career fairs and targeted training sessions. The school's football team, led by girls, has even won regional tournaments, showcasing the school's commitment to fostering leadership and teamwork skills.
Students from Realschule Miesbach and associated vocational schools, such as Berufsfachschule für Ernährung und Versorgung Maria Stern, have also shone brightly. Tabea Pettinger, for instance, has distinguished herself in state competitions, demonstrating her dedication and academic prowess. Recognition in competitions and creative endeavours indicates that these students not only excel academically but also develop their talents and confidence.
Astrid Güldner, representing the deputy mayor Gerhard Braunmiller, presented certificates and small gifts to the graduates. In her speech, she emphasised the importance of education and knowledge for success in life. She encouraged the graduates to use their knowledge for the benefit of others and to initiate positive changes. Her message to the students was to go forward courageously, stay curious, and remember that their actions can make a difference.
However, not all students from Miesbach were able to attend the event due to holidays. The students from Mittelschule Fischbachau, including Jakobus von Boch-Galhau, Lena Regina Stübing, and Emma-Sophie Weissfloch, were unable to attend. Despite their absence, the event was covered by local journalist Anna Reiter.
The honoured students have diverse future prospects, including medicine, computer science, mathematics, a voluntary social year in Munich, and international engagement in Kenya. They are already looking towards their future careers, ready to make a positive impact in their chosen fields. The future prospects of these students appear bright, reflecting strong academic achievements, extracurricular successes, and preparation for higher education or careers.
