For those requiring care during the summer break, applications should be submitted via the webKITA portal by April 30, 2025. Late applications will be considered, provided there are available spots and in the order they are received.
The summer closure will take place from July 28, 2025, to August 15, 2025. However, one facility will remain open for parents whose children require care. All the details regarding the summer closure, including the specific dates, can be found on the city's homepage under www.baunatal.de/meinekita.
It's important to note that the decision to keep a kindergarten open during the summer vacation is typically made by the kindergarten's management or local municipal authorities responsible for childcare services.
