Maxwell Paulus, the runner-up in the same competition, performed John Williams' Horn Concerto, while Matthew Lombard received Honorable Mention, performing Yoshimatsu's "Cyber-Bird" Saxophone Concerto.
The performances will take place at two prestigious venues: Schoenberg Hall and LACMA's Bing Theater. The first performance will take place on Friday, March 1, 2019, at 8pm in Schoenberg Hall, with the second performance scheduled for Sunday, March 3, 2019, at 6pm at LACMA's Bing Theater.
