Completed Count of Primary Schools in Gießen-West

Gießen-West Primary School has completed the renovation of its main building, marking the latest phase in its comprehensive modernization. The school, which has been a full-day primary school since 1971, underwent a significant transformation, focusing on creating a modern and child-friendly learning environment.

The main building was rebuilt down to its basic structure and updated energetically and technically. Inside, classrooms are arranged in bright learning clusters around open forums for collaborative work, creative projects, or individual promotion. The renovated school is now equipped with spaces for all these purposes.

The sports hall was partially renovated, and a new cafeteria was built, both of which are open to the district. The outdoor areas have been completely redesigned to provide a conducive environment for learning and play. Courtyards offer ample space for play, movement, and discovery, while an atrium serves as a green classroom within the redesigned outdoor areas.

Sustainability was a priority during the renovation, with efforts made to preserve existing building substance and save 'gray energy.' This commitment to environmental conservation contributes to climate protection.

City councilor Astrid Eibelshäuser and city councilor Francesco Arman inaugurated the first part of the building. Approximately 420 students will begin the new school year in the newly renovated spaces. The school is now ready to welcome its students back, offering a modern and innovative learning environment that enhances pedagogical daily life.

However, the news results do not provide information on who was involved in the opening of the first part of the renovated main building of Gießen-West Primary School. Despite this, the community is excited about the new changes and looks forward to seeing the positive impact they will have on the students' learning experiences.
