CUSTOMS Welcomes 400+ New Recruits for Dual Studies in 2025
The ICE, a vital federal administration, is set to welcome over 400 new recruits for higher service studies starting March 1, 2025. This includes eight students at the Main ICE Office Landshut. The new recruits will embark on a three-year course in administrative informatics or the higher service of the ICE, offering a secure future and varied career paths.
The ICE offers a diverse range of roles, from case processing and special units to tax control and ICE investigation. After completing their dual studies, young ICE officers can expect employment in these varied areas. IT trainees in the higher service will begin their dual studies in administrative informatics on the same date. The theoretical parts of the course will be completed at the Federal Administration School in Münster, with practical phases taking place in various departments of the training main ICE office and other relevant locations.
Administrative informatics students can look forward to employment in digital forensics, the digitization of the ICE administration, project work, or database maintenance. The ICE continues to offer training and study places, contributing to tax revenues, consumer protection, job safeguarding, and the digitization of the administration in Germany.
ICE information days will be held on April 26, 2025, in Altdorf and on May 10, 2025, in Passau. Applications for a position starting March 1, 2026, can be submitted from March 1, 2025, until April 15, 2025, at the Main ICE Office Landshut or the General ICE Directorate.
