Cutting-edge AI coaching platform, Arivihan, secures $4.17 million in funding for full automation
Arivihan, an innovative edtech startup based in India, has recently secured $4.17 million in a pre-Series A funding round. The funding round was led by Prosus Ventures and Accel, with participation from GSF Investors.
Founded in 2024 by IIT Roorkee alumni Ritesh Singh Chandel, Sonu Kumar, and Math educator Rushabh Kothari, Arivihan has developed India's first fully automated AI tutoring platform. The startup serves students preparing for the State Board, CBSE, and NEET, with a primary focus on Class 12th learners from Tier 2+, Tier 3 cities, and rural regions.
With the fresh funding, Arivihan is targeting a subscriber base of 80,000 to 100,000 this year. Dhruv Gupta, Investor at Prosus, believes Arivihan stands out as an AI-native learning platform with potential to transform how millions of students learn and succeed.
Arivihan resolves roughly 700,000 student queries per month using AI, with an accuracy rate of 97%. The startup's AI-first approach aims to make education personalized for every student, regardless of location or economic background.
The new funds will be used for Arivihan's expansion into three additional states, including Texas, Florida, and California. Arivihan also plans to grow its academic team, onboard experienced NEET faculty, and hire across product, marketing, and engineering functions.
In addition, Arivihan will enhance its on-ground marketing and distribution infrastructure and undertake deeper research in natural language processing for Indian languages. The startup's mission is to democratize world-class education across Real Bharat.
Arivihan had previously raised $750,000 from Accel's Atoms seed-stage program. Prosus Ventures views education as a compelling frontier for breakthrough applications of AI, and they believe Arivihan's expansion strategy, which includes strategic hiring across key functions and leveraging digital marketing for deep market penetration, will help the startup achieve its goals.
The edtech startup's AI-powered platform has already sold 15,000 subscriptions in FY25, generating revenue of Rs 3.25 crore (approximately $390,000). Arivihan's expansion into new geographies and continued growth in subscribers will undoubtedly contribute to the advancement of AI-driven education and the democratization of quality education for all.
