The funding round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with support from multiple investors including BPEA EQT, Atinum Investment, and others. Klook plans to allocate the funds to product innovation, social and digital marketing, and integration with artificial intelligence.
Singapore's Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) has committed SGD 55 million (USD 41 million) to enhance the local media industry. The funds will be used to support virtual production and international co-productions.
