ALROSA: Committed to Local Development
ALROSA wholeheartedly embraced the 'Working Yakutia. Staff' project. At the Economic Council forum, ALROSA, the Ministry of Industry and Geology of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), and the State Committee for Employment of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) signed a tripartite agreement on mutual cooperation in implementing the project.
"The 'Working Yakutia. We are confident that our ongoing collaboration with ALROSA will create a wealth of opportunities for the prosperity of our native republic and the well-being of Yakutians", said Svetlana Gorushinskaya, Chairperson of the State Committee for Employment of the Republic of Sakutia (Yakutia).
According to Yakutia's Minister of Industry and Geology, Maxim Terechenko, the agreement is geared towards improving the quality of life for Yakutians.
"Today, over 100,000 people work across the republic's industrial enterprises. And ALROSA's participation in the new 'Working Yakutia. Staff' project will help Yakutians find not only jobs but also their calling, a fulfilling career path in the diamond industry", pointed out Maxim Terechenko.

Staff' project aims to establish a partnership mechanism between employers, educational institutions, and government bodies to support the republic's economy by meeting personnel needs and attracting labor resources, with a focus on an individualized approach for each enterprise.
The project encompasses new job openings, internships, training opportunities, and targeted work with enterprises. This year, the aim is to attract 3,000 specialists from the local population, ensuring that every individual can discover their passion, receive training, and realize their potential right here in Yakutia. Industrial development thrives on human capital – together, we are forging a future for Yakutia.
The project builds on the proven and effective initiatives that ALROSA has championed for years, supporting employment, such as the 'Alrosa-Class' project, collaboration with local educational institutions, mentorship, upskilling and reskilling programs, and recognizing achievements leading to career growth for employees.
