Dubai Police Enhances Mobile Services for Enhanced Worker Safety and Convenience
Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Dubai Police has announced significant advancements in its 'On-the-Go' initiative, a groundbreaking service that delivers police support directly at convenient locations. Launched in 2015 in partnership with the ENOC Group, the initiative has expanded to 158 fuel stations across Dubai, marking a considerable increase from the 138 stations it served last year.
The 'On-the-Go' initiative, which is the first of its kind globally, now offers a total of eight services. One of the new additions is a labour complaint submission platform, designed to address specific concerns and issues faced by workers. This digital service allows workers to file individual or group complaints related to unpaid wages, inadequate accommodation, or occupational safety concerns, simplifying the process and making it more efficient for city workers to communicate with police.
Another new service is dedicated to individuals with physical, auditory, or visual impairments. This service enables users to register for priority emergency assistance, ensuring faster ambulance response and tailored support during emergencies. Dubai Police is known for continually developing initiatives to improve service delivery and inclusiveness across all community segments.
Captain Majed bin Saeed Al Kaabi, the head of the initiative, stated that the latest updates are in line with Dubai's vision for smart, inclusive, and people-centric services. The labour complaint submission platform and the service for individuals with disabilities are part of Dubai Police's broader commitment to providing services that cater to the needs of all members of the community.
