Economic assistance for public prosperity
Rhein-Kreis Neuss, a vibrant city in Germany, is stepping up its support for startups through the "accelerate_rkn" program. This initiative aims to foster a strong local economic environment by helping founders turn their ideas into successful businesses.
The program, detailed on its official website www.accelerate-rkn.de, offers an intensive phase of development that includes workshops, individual coaching, and mentorship from industry experts. During this phase, startups refine their concepts, technology, and go-to-market strategies. Successful participants may also gain access to workspace such as the Innovation Center of Rhein-Kreis Neuss for up to twelve months.
Financial support is another key aspect of the program. Participants can receive funding of up to 25,000 Euro, as well as prizes like 5,000 Euro in the related program "Accelerate Power." Startups also get opportunities to network and showcase their work at industry events like the “Future Tech” festival.
To apply or participate, startups are advised to reach out to the Rhein-Kreis Neuss economic development or innovation center directly. Engaging with local startup networks or the Wirtschaftsförderung Rhein-Kreis Neuss (Economic Development Office) is a recommended first step.
Meanwhile, residents of Neuss can stay updated on social developments, culinary arts, art, and culture in their city by subscribing to the free newsletter. This newsletter, available on the accelerate_rkn website, provides in-depth information without sending spam. To confirm your subscription, check your inbox or spam folder.
Four startups have already benefited from the program: UniqueUnited, a platform for the inclusion of people with disabilities; Loribox, an online marketplace for second-hand baby clothes; Kurskontrolle, an app for value-based stock analysis; and Shader, software for secure internal corporate communication.
