A pre-bid meeting is scheduled on June 9, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Ministry's office in Panchsheel Bhawan, New Delhi. This meeting aims to provide potential applicants with an opportunity to clarify any doubts and understand the process better.
The objective of these projects is to minimize post-harvest losses, improve storage facilities, and strengthen the farm-to-market supply chain. The projects are intended to ensure better income for farmers and improved quality for consumers.
It is important to note that no physical or offline submissions will be accepted under any circumstances. Applicants are advised to consult the May 22, 2025 operational guidelines available on the Ministry’s website for precise documentation lists and fee details.
The deadline for submitting proposals is 5:00 PM, August 8, 2025. By strengthening cold chain infrastructure, the PMKSY aims to reduce post-harvest losses, enhance the shelf life, and value addition of perishable goods, thereby contributing to a more robust agricultural sector in India.
Education and self-development opportunities are available for entrepreneurs through the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana (PMKSY), as they can enhance their business knowledge and skills by participating in the Cold Chain projects. The deadline for submitting proposals for these projects is 5:00 PM, August 8, 2025, and applicants are encouraged to carefully review the operational guidelines issued by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries for precise documentation requirements and fee details.
