Graduation Event 2022
Kingston University's Head of School of Design, Mr. Damian Chapman, expressed his pride in the dedication of the graduates as they navigate the ever-changing field of graphic design. Meanwhile, across the globe, the Indian Institute of Art & Design held its Convocation Ceremony on 28th January 2023, a day of pride and achievement for everyone involved.
The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the distinguished guests, including Mandy Ure, Dean of Kingston School of Arts and Pro Vice-Chancellor for Sustainability and Inclusion at Kingston University. Students who completed their Post Graduation in Fashion Business Management and Fashion Design in the year 2022 were awarded their master's degrees.
Prof. Usha Patel addressed the graduates, speaking about the opportunities in the design domain. Mandy Ure encouraged graduates to stay true to themselves and never give up on their dreams. The occasion was marked by a joyous atmosphere with families and friends cheering the graduates as they received their degrees.
Jessica Toppo from Fashion Business Management (2020 - 2022) and Aishwarya Shyam Kumar from Communication Design (2018 - 2022) also addressed the convocation, sharing their experiences and cherished memories at the institution.
Dr. Jitin Chadha delivered a congratulatory speech to the graduates, and students of Communication Design, Fashion Design, and Interior Architecture & Design from the batch 2018 - 2022 were awarded their degrees. Mr. Ajit Chadha, Dr. Jitin Chadha, Prof. Usha Patel, course leaders, professors, and lecturers were present at the event.
The ceremony ended with a group photo session, capturing the spirit of the day, including the proud smiles of the graduates and the happy tears of their loved ones. A testament to the memories created and the bright future ahead for these talented individuals.
