Greetings Once More!
Princeton University Blog Returns for the 2019-2020 Academic Year
The Princeton University blog is back and better than ever, offering a platform for students to share their experiences, reflections, tips, and awareness of research opportunities. This academic year, the blog welcomes a diverse group of correspondents from various grade levels and academic disciplines.
One of the new correspondents is Kamron Soldozy, a sophomore who is deciding between German and Neuroscience as his major. On campus, Kamron is involved in Peak Potential and Club Powerlifting. His research interests span Neuroscience, Sociology, and Gender. You may often find Kamron attempting handstands or refereeing basketball around campus.
Another new correspondent is Ella Feiner, a sophomore concentrating in Chemical and Biological Engineering with a potential certificate in Quantitative and Computational Biology. Ella's research interest is studying embryonic development to better understand disease. Apart from her academic pursuits, Ella serves as an Outdoor Action leader, competes as a member of the Princeton Debate Panel, performs with the Princeton Pianists Ensemble, and is interested in the history of biology and medicine.
Returning correspondents for the blog include Rafi, Shanon, Andrea, Saira, and Alec. Soo Young Yun, a new sophomore correspondent from Seoul, South Korea, is also among them. Soo Young is the Co-Editor-in-Chief for Princeton's Journal of Asian American Studies and a Managing Regional Editor for American Foreign Policy Magazine. She is also on the Peer Review Board for the Princeton Undergraduate Research Journal. In her spare time, Soo Young enjoys watching cat videos and dancing to BLACKPINK.
The blog encourages everyone to apply, regardless of their major or academic discipline. This year, the blog is offering an opportunity for students to write about their research experiences. The deadlines for the first paper submissions are approaching, so don't miss out on this chance to share your story.
Recruiting season is happening at the institution, and the blog is accepting applications for writers during the 2021-2022 academic year. Students can submit their specific questions or topics they would like to see the blog write about. The blog will feature reflections, tips, and awareness of research opportunities from correspondents across various grade levels and academic disciplines.
As always, the Princeton University blog strives to provide a valuable resource for students, offering insights into academic life, research opportunities, and student experiences. If you're interested in becoming a correspondent or have questions about the blog, don't hesitate to reach out.
