In the heart of Gütersloh, the grand graduation ball marked the culmination of 157 students' school careers at the Municipal Grammar School. The event, held at the city hall on the following Saturday evening, was a celebration of hard work, dedication, and camaraderie.
Two students, Olivia Rachwitz and Patrick Schwarze, who graduated with a perfect 1.0, were honoured for their exceptional academic achievements. Their names were added to the list of esteemed alumni, which includes Frederik Sonnabend, who received the Social Award from the Volksbank for his exceptional engagement as a student representative during his school years.
The evening began with a warm welcome from music teacher Heiner Breitenstroeter, who performed a musical piece on the piano. Between the presentations, the revived pop choir of SG, under the direction of Søren Graute, entertained the audience with their performances.
