Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

Candidates must be between 20 and 28 years old as of August 1, 2025. Candidates from reserved categories are eligible for age relaxation. The maximum age limit for general candidates is 28 years, while for SC/ST candidates, it is extended by 5 years. OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates can apply until they are 29 years old, and candidates with disabilities can apply until they are 38 years old. Ex-servicemen, widows, divorced women, and women legally separated who have not remarried can apply until they are 35, 38, and 40 years old respectively, depending on their category.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a government-recognized university. Candidates must also have a valid Mark-sheet/Degree Certificate that states they are a graduate on the day they register, and must mention the percentage of marks secured in Graduation while registering online.

Nationality Requirements

Candidates must be either an Indian citizen, a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with intent to settle permanently, or a person of Indian origin (PIO) who migrated from specified countries with intent to permanently settle in India.

Additional Criteria

  • Candidates must be computer literate, either having a certificate/diploma/degree in computer operations or having studied computer/IT at school or college level.
  • Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the state/UT they apply for, with the ability to read, write, and speak it, or must qualify in a local language proficiency test after the mains exam.
  • A clean credit history/integrity as per participating banks’ norms is also required.
