Candidates must be either an Indian citizen, a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with intent to settle permanently, or a person of Indian origin (PIO) who migrated from specified countries with intent to permanently settle in India.
Additional Criteria
- Candidates must be computer literate, either having a certificate/diploma/degree in computer operations or having studied computer/IT at school or college level.
- Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the state/UT they apply for, with the ability to read, write, and speak it, or must qualify in a local language proficiency test after the mains exam.
- A clean credit history/integrity as per participating banks’ norms is also required.
