IEAA 2025 Forum Explores Future of International Education with GenAI Focus
The 2025 International Education Association of Australia Minecraft Pathways Forum in Melbourne, led by Dom Harden, Clare Magee, and Kate Gresham, delved into the future of international education. Celina Yu moderated a panel on access and integration, with twenty-three speakers across thirteen sessions exploring themes like Generative AI integration and student loans support.
The Forum kicked off with discussions on the ethical and effective use of Generative AI in education. Strategies to create supportive and inclusive learning environments were emphasized, with creative teaching approaches such as drama skills and embedding English language proficiency highlighted.
Post-COVID demand for student services and identifying student loans needs were explored in a panel session. Data analytics and dashboard creation were also discussed for tracking KPIs in pathways programs. The program for the event was available on the IEAA website.
