IHK Praises 117 Top-Grade Exam Participants as 'Vocational Training Ambassadors'
IHK Vice President Dr. Roman Diederichs has praised the 117 top-grade exam participants as 'ambassadors of vocational training'. The honorees, including 58 women, completed their final exams with the top grade of 'very good'. Diederichs acknowledged their success and commitment, highlighting the importance of dual training to Germany's economic strength.
The ceremony recognized individuals who passed their exams based on professional experience and retrainees. These top-grade exam participants were trained in 67 companies and 18 vocational schools. Among them is Jelena Nedic, who trained as a business management assistant.
Diederichs thanked all involved parties, including training companies, trainers, vocational schools, and examiners, for their contribution to securing skilled workers and economic success. He emphasized the need for dual training to combat the skills shortage, given demographic change. Diederichs also addressed the impact of new technologies on work processes, stressing the importance of conveying future-ready competencies in current training.
