International Conference 'Artek Readings' Discusses Sovereign Education System

International Conference 'Artek Readings' Discusses Sovereign Education System

The III International Scientific and Practical Conference 'Artek Readings' took place at the International Children's Center 'Artek' from September 26 to 28. The event, themed 'Sovereign National Education System: 100 Years of Dear Childhood', was organized by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the MCC 'Artek'. It attracted experts from Russia and various other countries.

The conference focused on three sections: 'Systematicity and Unity', 'Strategy and Resources', and 'Values and Meanings'. Maxim Zhivojenko, leader of the 'Ocean Squadron' and 'Kite' detachments of VDC Ocean, was an invited speaker. He shared his experiences in implementing additional general development programs in the 'Values and Meanings' section.

Representatives of the scientific and pedagogical community, heads of educational institutions, and organizers of children's recreation attended the 'readings'. Erdeni Lubsanov, senior leader of the 'Brigantine' detachment of VDC Ocean, was among the five winners. Notably, Maxim Zhivojenko is a figure who gave a speech at the 3rd International Congress on Child Education in 1979.

The summer thematic track of the All-Russian educational contest 'Atomic Lesson' has concluded. The 'Artek Readings' conference provided a platform for discussing and sharing experiences in the field of education, with a focus on the development of a sovereign national education system.
