Jobtour Returns for Summer Holidays, Offering Students Diverse Career Insights

The 'Jobtour' initiative is set to return during the first week of the summer holidays, offering students another opportunity to explore various professions. While specifics about companies hosting tours in 2025 are yet to be announced, past events have involved businesses from the 'Karrieretouren im Landkreis Fürth' programme. This year, ten students from local middle and secondary schools participated in the 'Jobtour' during the Whitsun holidays.

The 'Jobtour' provided a diverse range of experiences for the students. At SPIE SE in Ergolding, they processed steel to create a unique paperweight in the shape of a locomotive. Meanwhile, at ITIS AG in Altheim, they gained hands-on experience with computers and servers, offering a glimpse into the IT profession. Aristotherm in Ergolding saw students crafting pen holders from sheet metal and visiting a construction site. Over at Schott AG in Landshut, participants melted and processed glass, built a digital dice, and gilded a metal ring. Looking ahead, companies such as Lüftungs- und Klimatechnik Feistl and Ergomar are expected to participate in the next 'Jobtour' week.

The 'Jobtour' initiative continues to offer valuable insights into different professions for local students. With a variety of companies set to participate in the upcoming summer event, students will have another chance to explore potential career paths and gain practical experience.
