Klingel workers can expect assistance from an employment agency in a swift and practical manner.

In a significant turn of events, the Nagold-Pforzheim Employment Agency has taken the lead in supporting the 1,336 affected Klingel employees, following the company's recent layoffs.

Martina Lehmann, the managing director of the agency, has expressed optimism that many employees will find new jobs in the coming weeks. This optimism is backed by the interest shown by over 60 companies who have expressed their intent to hire Klingel employees through the agency's employer service.

The agency has been proactive in its approach, holding three information sessions on August 30, 2023, for Klingel employees. Over 900 employees attended these sessions, which aimed to address financial management, finding a new job, and necessary immediate actions.

To further assist the affected employees, the agency is opening eight job placement offices at the three Klingel locations on September 18, 2023. These offices will be located in Sachsenstraße, Dennigstraße, and Im Altgefäll.

The job placement offices will provide services such as job counseling, training programs, and placement assistance. The agency is also working with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) to place apprentices in other regional companies for continued training.

For specific information on the job placement offices, job fairs, and services provided, it is recommended to directly contact the Pforzheim Employment Exchange or the Nagold-Pforzheim Employment Agency.

In a move to support employees in a familiar environment, the job placement specialists will be meeting with Klingel employees in their workplace, without disrupting business operations.

The layoffs at Klingel are the largest concentrated in a single region that Martina Lehmann has seen in her career. Despite this, she remains hopeful and is working tirelessly to ensure a smooth transition for all affected employees.

In addition, the agency plans to host a job fair in October, in collaboration with partners. This job fair will provide an opportunity for Klingel employees to meet potential employers and take a step towards securing their future.
