Music students from the International Center for Music at Park University will stage a concert on November 14th in the String Studios.

On Thursday, November 14, at 7:30 p.m., the International Center for Music (ICM) at Park University will host a captivating recital concert. The event, which will take place at the 1900 Building in Mission Woods, Kan., promises a broad spectrum of emotional depth in classical music compositions.

The concert program will showcase eight solo performances, a violin duet, and the Park Quartet. Cellist Diyorbek Nortojiev will perform "Hungarian Rhapsody, Op. 68," composed by David Popper. Violinist Yin-Shiuan Ting will perform the first movement of "Violin Concerto No. 1 in F-Sharp Minor, Op. 14" composed by Henryk Wieniawski. Violist Victor Diaz will perform "Two Romances for Viola and Piano" composed by Adolphus Hailstork III.

The Park Quartet, comprising Farquhar, Mukhiddinov, dos Santos, and Turgunov, will perform "String Quartet No. 12, D. 703," composed by Franz Schubert. Collaborative pianist Lolita Lisovskaya-Sayevich will perform in all performances except for the Park Quartet.

The concert will be a treat for classical music enthusiasts, as the performances will be delivered by renowned artists such as Veis, a celebrated Czech cellist with a career marked by prestigious accolades and captivating performances. Veis' repertoire spans classical to contemporary works, and he is known for passionate and nuanced interpretations.

Chun, an accomplished violist and conductor, will also be part of the concert. As an educator, Chun has imparted his knowledge and expertise to students, shaping the future of classical music. His artistry transcends boundaries, captivating audiences worldwide in solo recitals and chamber music ventures.

The concert will feature performances by violinist Ben Sayevich and cellist Daniel Veis, along with Chung-Hoon Peter Chun on viola.
