Notice for MPhil (Darshanacharya) Admission in the Year 2082 at Tribhuvan University's Graduate School of Engineering
Tribhuvan University's Faculty of Education, Graduate School of Education has announced admissions for the 22nd batch of the MPhil Integrated PhD Program. The academic year for the program is set to commence in 2082.
The program offers specializations in various fields of Philosophy (Darshana), including Education Studies, English Education, Mathematics Education, Health Education, Nepali Education, Social Studies Education, Inclusive Education, and Physical Education. Each specialization has specific academic qualifications required for admission.
To be eligible for MPhil (Darshanacharya), candidates must possess a master’s degree (MA) in Philosophy or an equivalent degree recognized by Tribhuvan University, with a minimum Second Division or equivalent CGPA. Some specializations may allow candidates with a relevant background in related disciplines, but a Philosophy MA is generally preferred.
The application form distribution begins on Baisakh 15, 2082 (Monday), and interviews will commence on Ashadh 1, 2082 (Sunday). The admission period is from Ashadh 20 to the end of Ashadh. The deadline to submit the application form is Jestha 20, 2082 (Tuesday) during office hours.
Candidates must submit a research proposal concept paper and two articles (published or publishable) as part of the application process. The entrance examination is scheduled for Jestha 30, 2082 (Friday) from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Interview lists will be published on Jestha 30, 2082 (Friday), and the results will be announced on Ashadh 19, 2082 (Thursday).
The forms can be obtained during office hours and must be submitted in person with a hard copy. They can also be downloaded from the website, but submission must be done in person. The maximum intake for the program is 94 students, with a minimum of 10 students per subject.
