Number of Participants in the Program, Regardless of Gender
The Abiturientenprogramm at Sparkasse Ingolstadt is a 2-year vocational training program designed for high school graduates with a Fachhochschulreife or Abitur and a grade average of 2.4 or better. The program, which begins on September 1, 2026, focuses on training future bank clerks with an emphasis on practical, customer-oriented learning and preparation for a career in finance.
Instead of attending traditional vocational school, participants in the Abiturientenprogramm attend presence seminars at the Sparkassenakademie in Landshut. These seminars provide focused exam preparation and learning support through digital media such as learning videos, webinars, and continuous online tutoring via the platform s-win.
Learning by doing is a priority in the Abiturientenprogramm. Participants gain hands-on experience in customer service, professional private customer advisory, and team projects. For especially motivated students, there is even the opportunity to pursue a part-time degree after completing the training.
Regular tests, including practice exams and simulated intermediate and final exams, are used to track learning progress. The training period is reduced to 2 years, making it a well-rounded, accelerated path into a banking career.
To be eligible for the Abiturientenprogramm, applicants must have the last two school reports or final report, an application photo, curriculum vitae, internship certificates, and other relevant documents. Applicants should demonstrate contact skills, engagement, friendliness, strong self-initiative, organization, discipline, and interest in economics and finance.
For questions about the application, contact Christoph Eberl at +49 841 304-1665. More information about the program can be found on the Sparkasse Ingolstadt's website.
