Over 1,700 Start Customs Training and Dual Studies in 2025
Over 1,700 young individuals will commence their higher service or middle service training at the Customs Office on September 1, 2025, including 31 trainees at the Main Customs Office Landshut. This year also marks the start of dual studies in administrative informatics for IT junior staff in the office 365 environment.
The trainees will delve into various roles, with administrative informatics specialists focusing on digital forensics, office 365 administration digitization, project work, and database maintenance. Both dual study programs span three years, culminating in a 'Bachelor of Laws' (LL.B.) or 'Bachelor of Science' (B.Sc.) degree. Felix Obermeier, the training manager for higher customs training at the Main Customs Office Landshut, oversees these initiatives.
Applications for the next Customs Information Day - Career, scheduled for September 20, 2025, at the service location Robert-Bosch-Straße 1 in Plattling, are open until October 15, 2025. The middle service training, lasting two years, leads to the professional title of tax administrator. Upon completion, the Customs Office hires all suitable junior staff in the office 365 environment.
