Police Launch 'AnsprechBAR' Dialogue Series to Engage Students on Online Dangers and Violence
Police Headquarters Recklinghausen is launching 'AnsprechBAR', a dialogue series tailored for young people. The initiative aims to engage them in meaningful conversations about online dangers, knife violence, and radicalization.
The police will use an Airstream trailer and interactive formats to create a welcoming atmosphere. The series kicks off on September 18, 2025, at the Paul-Spiegel-Berufskolleg in Dorsten. Until mid-October, the AnsprechBAR will visit various schools in the Recklinghausen district and the city of Bottrop, including Schulzentrum Haltern am See, Willy-Brandt-Gesamtschule Marl, and Berufskolleg Bottrop. The event series aims to enlighten people about digital crime and everyday dangers, prevent violence and radicalization, promote media competence, and build trust between police and people.
The 'AnsprechBAR' dialogue series, launched by Police Headquarters Recklinghausen, will visit numerous schools in the region until mid-October. By engaging students in real conversations, the police hope to raise awareness about online threats, prevent violence, and foster a stronger relationship with people.
