Preparing Magadan Schools for the Upcoming Academic Year Evaluated by Local Authorities
In the heart of Magadan, School No. 4 is gearing up for the new academic year, with parents and community members playing a significant role in its preparation.
The 'Parent Acceptance' campaign, part of the 'United Russia' People's Program, has seen active participation from parents, who are taking their responsibility to assess the school's readiness seriously. This campaign provides an opportunity to assess the quality of repair work and the material and technical equipment of educational institutions.
Victoria Golubeva, Deputy Chair of the Magadan Oblast Duma, is supervising the 'New School' party project in Magadan, which includes the 'Parent Acceptance' campaign. She emphasised the importance of this annual campaign, visiting School No. 4, Kindergartens No.57 and No.39, and the 'Center for Children's Development - Kindergarten No.63' during the inspection of educational institutions' readiness for the new academic year.
School No. 4 has undergone cosmetic repairs, with the hallway panels, sports changing rooms, and auditorium receiving an aesthetic facelift. In one of the primary school classrooms, desks and chairs have been replaced, ensuring a comfortable learning environment for the 570 students currently enrolled.
As part of the national project "Education", an IT classroom has been equipped at School No. 4 with eight laptops. A training mannequin for first aid training has also been acquired, providing essential resources for lessons on the basics of safety and defense of the Motherland.
Moreover, sewing machines for girls and drills for boys have been purchased for labor lessons, providing practical tools for students to learn and create.
Tamara Gvazava, a former graduate of School No. 4, is an active parent representative and emphasises the strong teaching staff and excellent connection between teachers and parents. As a gesture of goodwill before graduation, Tamara painted one of the school's walls, adding a personal touch to the school's preparations.
