The COACHING4FUTURE program, set to roll out on July 4, 2025, invites attendees from Pestalozzi School to an exciting, interactive lecture and high-tech showcase. During this outing, two certified coaches will illuminate crucial future topics and relevant career paths with a focus on the MINT disciplines - Mathematics, Informatics, Natural Sciences, and Technology. Supported by the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung, the employers' association, SÜDWESTMETALL, and the Regional Directorate Baden-Württemberg of the Federal Employment Agency, this innovative education initiative paves the way for future generations of skilled workers.

Heilbronn (27.06.2025) - With many retiring workers leaving substantial voids in jobs like craft, industry, and research and development, the skills gap is looming large. Baden-Württemberg, home to numerous industrial and high-tech enterprises, is no exception. Gaining awareness of various vocational training and degree programs, particularly in the MINT fields, is essential to bridge the talent gap. Since 2008, the COACHING4FUTURE education program has been visiting secondary schools across Baden-Württemberg to provide students with a clearer vision of technical careers.
Join us on Friday, 04 July 2025, as the program welcomes pupils from Pestalozzi School to delve deeper into technical career paths.
Hands-On Learning: Engaging with Technology
The tech coaches engage with students to provide a practical, entertaining perspective on current and future topics related to career orientation. A mix of lively lectures featuring visual experiments and interactive technology displays gives students an up-close look at how technological trends contribute to various scientific research areas. With examples in hand, they demonstrate the roles of MINT professionals, the technologies they employ, and their role in solving pressing societal challenges. Each school class chooses the topic area to investigate, ranging from future housing and transportation to healthcare, lifestyles, and environmental protection.
