Putin Honors Educators Nationwide, Including Mentors and Patriotic Teachers
Russian President Vladimir Putin has recognised the dedication and hard work of educators across the country. During the 22nd Annual Meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club, several teachers received state honours, including medals and badges.
Among the recipients was Svetlana Konstantinovna Stepanova, formerly a teacher in Penza Region. She was awarded the 'Mentor' badge for her significant contribution to mentoring young minds.
In Pskov Region, Svetlana Ivanovna Malera was honoured with the title 'Honored Teacher of the Russian Federation'. Zoya Anatolevna Nikitina, from Leningrad Region, received the same prestigious title. Meanwhile, Tatyana Mikhailovna Timkina, a veteran educator in Omsk Region, was also recognised with the 'Mentor' badge.
Vyacheslav Yuryevich Ivanov, director of the 'Bastion' sports school in Vladivostok, was awarded the title 'Honored Worker of Physical Culture of the Russian Federation'. Oleg Leonidovich Plesovskikh, a teacher from Tyumen Region, was awarded the Medal of the Order 'For Merit to the Fatherland' II degree for his significant contribution to patriotic education and active work with youth.
These awards reflect the Russian government's commitment to recognising and rewarding the hard work and dedication of educators across the country. The recipients have made a significant impact on the lives of their students and communities.
