Recognition for Energetic Indian Authors at Summer Book Writing Festival 2025's Novice Writers Category
The Emerging Authors League Celebrates Young Indian Writers
The Emerging Authors League, a national competition under the Summer Book Writing Festival (SBWF) 2025, has recognised and celebrated the achievements of young student authors in India. Organised by BriBooks, a leading writing and publishing platform for school students, this league is the second of three leagues in the festival.
The Emerging Authors League honours student authors who have shown sustained commitment and creativity by completing and publishing their books, rather than merely showcasing writing style or language skills. This competition celebrates those who have transformed their ideas into finished and publicly shared books, emphasising both perseverance and creative development.
The league recognises student authors in two categories: Jury Choice, for literary quality and originality, and Best-Seller, for popular appeal among readers. This year, winners included Daksh Kant with his book "Scarlet Flames", Kirandeep S P Chand with "THE ALIBI ROOM", Arshiya Rajput with "The Breath Left Behind", and Navya Khanna with "Price of a Second".
BriBooks, the world's largest student publishing platform, has provided a national platform for young writers to showcase their literary talents and their ability to complete a book. Thousands of Indian students have published their books through BriBooks, gaining recognition as emerging voices in literature.
Participation in the Emerging Authors League is expected to exceed 1 million students across the country this year. The league encourages the habit of completing writing projects and sharing them, highlighting diverse stories and voices from Indian student authors. It also rewards both creative originality and popular success, with top authors receiving national recognition through media features, jury selections, and special showcases.
Winning students and schools will also be considered for the prestigious Literary Leadership Awards. This recognition aims to foster developing literary talent in India, supporting young authors’ growth and celebrating their accomplishments in a prestigious and structured manner.
Some of the best-selling books that emerged from this year's competition include "A deal with shadows" by Chiranth Kellengere, "THE WHISPERING WOODS" by Trisha Agrawal, "Through My Eyes" by Vedika Vikas Patil, "Echoes Of The Southern Gate" by Aharshi Biswas, "CAMP WHISPERING PINES" by Yashika Solanki, "THE Lost temple enigma" by DHWANI NAIR, "The Woods Manor Revelation" by Mihira Shukla, "THE LAST HUMAN !" by Veda Tejwani, "The secret of Golden treasure" by Kritika Bhasin, and "ESSENCE OF BEING LIVING" by Noor Gandhi.
The Emerging Authors League is more than just a competition; it's a platform that encourages and celebrates the creativity, perseverance, and literary talent of young Indian authors. It's a testament to the power of storytelling and the potential of the next generation of writers.
