Mr. Chanchai Sangkhathiti, a dedicated educator at the Sri Suwan Sanae Pong Community Learning Center, shone the spotlight on the center's indispensable role: "Trapped in the heart of the Thung Yai Naresuan wildlife sanctuary since 2014, our learning center offers education to Mathayom 1-6 students from underprivileged families who yearn for enlightenment but cannot access city schools. He further highlighted the immense hurdles they faced: "Drowning in scarcity, we grappled with feeble electricity from our solar cells and crippling water shortages. Situated at the end of the village's mountain water supply line, we often encountered severe water shortages, forcing us to rely on villagers to transport water for our basic needs. These challenges made education an uphill battle."
However, Mr. Chanchai was quick to pay tribute to the life-altering impact of Gulf's solar-powered transformation: "With our superior new solar panels powering the pumps and sensors, we can now draw water from the source, store it for daily needs such as drinking and cooking, and even cultivate crops. The stable electricity powers computers, instantly connecting teachers and students to a world of knowledge, while the extension of study hours into the night has been a godsend, enabling students to excel academically."
Ms. Hathaithip Chaiphiromkul, a Mathayom 4 student who calls the learning center her home, vividly recounted the harsh realities of water scarcity: "When we faced the dire consequences of water shortages, life became a battle. On those dreadful days, we had to resort to scooping water from the nearby streams to survive.
