In a grand ceremony held on Ascension Square on July 1st, Ural State Agrarian University celebrated the graduation of 566 students, marking a significant milestone in their academic journey. The university, recognised as one of the best in the region by RAEX, specialises in teaching veterinary medicine and agriculture.

The solemn event was attended by several dignitaries, including Boris Kirillov, Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Ural Federal District, Alexei Shmykov, First Deputy Governor of Sverdlovsk Oblast, and Svetlana Terekhova, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Consumer Market of Sverdlovsk Oblast. Marina Smirnova, Deputy Director of the Sverdlovsk Branch of Rosselkhozbank, and Irina Baburina, a graduate of the Faculty of Engineering Technologies, were also in attendance.

Olga Loretz, Rector of Ural State Agrarian University, delivered a speech at the ceremony, while the regional head, Denis Vladimir Pasler, congratulated the graduates and expressed his eagerness for them to work in the region's enterprises.

The graduates, who studied professions in high demand and crucial for Russia's food security, were set to begin their professional careers in various fields of agriculture, including agroengineering, biotechnology, food industry, and veterinary medicine. Many of them planned to continue their education at Ural State Agrarian University, pursuing master's and doctoral degrees.

Fourteen faculty members at the university were recognised with certificates for their contributions to preparing highly qualified specialists for the agro-industrial complex and their professionalism. Additionally, 164 graduates received honors from Ural State Agrarian University.
