Summer Reading Initiative in Wadener is underway!
Wadern Summer Reading Event Kicks Off
The Wadern City Library is excited to announce the launch of the Wadern Summer Reading event, an initiative aimed at promoting reading among children in grades one to five.
This event, supported by local partners such as Lichtspiele Wadern, Bücherhütte Wadern, DAV Kletterzentrum, Globus Losheim, Kreativschmiede, Eiscafé Siega, and Albayrak Kebap, promises to be a fun and engaging way to encourage young readers.
Participants can win a variety of prizes, including books, games, vouchers, and a certificate for each participant. The raffle will take place after the summer vacation.
To participate, for every book read or listened to, a participation sheet must be filled out. Registration and information can be obtained from Wadern City Library, Director Christel Franz.
The Wadern City Library is committed to making reading a fun and rewarding activity. Director Franz states, "Promoting reading is essential, and we believe that new incentives are necessary to make it successful."
