Summit 2025: L3AD Announces Victory at LEAD Digital Innovation Meeting
The LEAD Digital Innovation Summit 2025, organised by L3AD, has concluded, marking a successful gathering of digital startups, investors, and industry leaders.
Held in Dhaka, the summit brought together 15 high-potential digital startups, eager to present their innovative ventures. The event also attracted over 250 business leaders and CEOs, and more than 50 global and local investors.
L3AD's Investor Network, which now includes over 50 investors from Bangladesh and around the globe, was a key highlight of the summit. This network is set to grow further, aiming to engage more than 100 investors in the next edition.
The summit catalysed a wave of institutional partnerships and served as a platform for the formal launch of L3AD's Mentor & Monitor Programme. This programme aims to expand, with new cohorts focused on 10+ specialised tech and business domains.
The third panel at the summit featured influential founders such as Md Ziaul Haque Bhuiyan (CEO, ShopUp), Raisul Kabir (CEO, Brain Station 23), and Mohammad Abdul Matin Emon (CEO, Praava Health). The panel also included industry experts like Imadur Rahman (CEO, Bangladesh Submarine Cable Company Ltd.), Commodore (Retd.) Syed Misbah Uddin Ahmad (Director General, BIMRAD), Dr Shorful Islam (CEO, Be Data), Rubaiyyaat Aakbar (Head of Cybersecurity, InsureTech), Dr Sadman Sakib (Research Associate, Evotec SE), Mohammed Absar (Head of Business Intelligence, NHS England), and Nasikul Islam (Director, Technology and Ventures).
Looking ahead to 2026, L3AD aims to scale to 30 startups, expand the investor pool, and engage more than 500 business leaders in the next edition of the summit. L3AD also plans to establish a permanent Innovation Centre in Dhaka, which will serve as an incubation hub, nurturing startups from idea to IPO.
To maintain year-round engagement, L3AD will host a series of virtual roundtables, investor forums, and mentorship clinics. The organisation is also introducing a Podcast Series for continued knowledge sharing.
New sponsorship and affiliation opportunities will be available for visionary brands and institutions to co-create the future of Bangladesh's digital economy. The theme of the summit was "Reversing the Brain Drain: Lead Digital Innovation", reflecting L3AD's commitment to fostering diaspora-driven innovation networks.
While specific details about L3AD are limited, it seems that the organisation is making strides in supporting Bangladesh's digital startup ecosystem and engaging Non-Resident Bangladeshi tech leaders. More information about L3AD and its initiatives is expected to be revealed in the coming months.
Investors and business leaders at the LEAD Digital Innovation Summit 2025 took note of L3AD's plans to expand its Investor Network and Mentor & Monitor Programme, which focus on technology-driven ventures in various business domains. Furthering their commitment to fostering education and self-development, L3AD will host virtual roundtables, forums, and a podcast series throughout the year.
