University of Park Announces Internal Changes
Park University Announces Organizational Changes
Park University has announced a series of organizational changes aimed at strengthening its academic and employer relationships, as well as its noncredit enrollments. Katie Ervin, who has been appointed as the associate vice president of strategic alliances, will lead these efforts.
In her new role, Ervin will continue to oversee the Office of Professional Education and Workforce Development, and will now also be responsible for the Office of Career Development and Park's Access to Education programs. The Office of Alumni Relations, on the other hand, will now report to the Office of University Advancement.
The Office of Strategic Communications, previously known as the Office of University Engagement, will remain unchanged in its purpose but will undergo a name change. The Offices of Campus Safety and Environmental Health and Safety will now report to Kevin Martineau, senior director of facilities and operations at Park University.
Stacy Johnson, who was previously the assistant director of online operations, has been promoted to director of the Faculty Administrative Support Team. The Online Operations Team has also been renamed as the Faculty Administrative Support Team.
These changes are intended to better position Park University for greater alignment and growth, and to maximize the strengths of individuals within the University. No new initiatives or programs have been announced as part of these changes.
Kena Wolf has been appointed as interim chief operating officer at Park University, while Erik Bergrud's title has changed to chief strategic communications officer. No specific details about the University's strategic priorities or growth were provided in the announcement.
As of February 9, 2021, no documented information regarding these organizational changes could be found in available search results. This could suggest that Park University is making internal changes that are not yet widely publicised.
