Academic achievements aren't the only exciting developments at Park University. The International Center for Music (ICM) graduate student Ilya Shmukler will perform his first concert in Kansas City since his summer victory on Oct. 5, 2024, at the 1900 Building in Mission Woods, Kan. In addition to Shmukler's concert, the ICM will host a recital by students in Stanislav Ioudenitch's piano studio on Oct. 24, 2024, at the 1900 Building. Another notable event at Park University will be a talk on "Constitutional Convention: How are Voting Rights Affected?" presented by Matt Harris, Ph.D., associate professor of political science, for the League of Women Voters of Johnson County (Kan.) on Sept. 14.

Lastly, two Park University political science experts will hold a discussion on "The 2024 U.S. General Election: Public Policy Implications" on Oct. 30, 2024. The event will take place at the Jenkin and Barbara David Theater within Alumni Hall on the University's flagship Parkville Campus and will be livestreamed at our website umedia.com.
